So, remember that long long time ago when I said Chimaeron was a stupid fight and he needed to stop being such a jerk? Yeah, it turns out I lied and once we killed him once he became the adorable puppy he was meant to be.

Instead of doing the logical, reasonable thing and going to Atramedes after Chimaeron died (like Redemption did!), we decided to head across the hall to Maloriak, Nefarian's alchemist and assistant. The heroic version added an entire new phase to the fight, which initially proved rather frustrating. After we figured that one out, we grappled with a load of RNG and the split-second interrupt timing necessary to not get completely gibbed by a spare Arcane Storm tick or an overwhelmingly obnoxious Consuming Flames proc on the tank.

About two and a half nights' worth of attempts later, we were awarded an illustrious honor by Nefarian himself: the title of "Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions".

Shame it only lasts for 30 minutes though. Server 2nd, puts us back into contention for Horde 1st and Server 3rd 10-man. 3/13 Heroic!
